Acrylic Paintings

"Snow and Ginger", from the permanent collection of Peru State College, Peru, Nebraska.

The artist's statement: " When I paint, I want to share with the viewer my experience, my emotional recollection of a moment gone forever. I never aim to startle. I want to arouse second looks - to have the viewer walk with me and to feel the grass and the wind. In sculpting, I try to express the great love I have for the wildlife of the plains. For a sculpture to be successful, however, I feel, I have to capture that critical moment in nature when time stood still. "
